Dig Terms of Use

Effective date: 25 September 2026

1. Who provides Dig

Dig is created and provided by Mark Isayan, acting personally, at Avan, Kuchak 47 Building, Apartment 14, Yerevan, Armenia ("Dig", "we", "us").

For questions, complaints or service problems, email contact@digrecords.fr or visit Dig Support.

These terms govern your use of the Dig app and its services. The Privacy Policy explains our handling of personal information. Accepting these terms is not consent to optional data processing that requires separate consent.

The app license is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. These service terms supplement that license and do not replace Apple's terms for your Apple account, purchases or subscriptions. Apple is not the provider of Dig's collecting service.

2. Accounts and eligibility

The current app requires Sign in with Apple. Keep access to your account secure and contact us if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for the information you submit and the actions you authorize from your account.

Dig is intended for worldwide availability, subject to the territories in which the app and its supporting services are offered. You must have legal capacity to accept these terms and make purchases, or the authorization required by the law that applies to you.

Connecting Discogs is optional and requires authorization for an account you are entitled to use. Your separate obligations to Discogs continue to apply.

3. What Dig provides

Dig helps you discover record shops and events, identify music and possible record releases, organize a collection and wantlist, plan visits, consider catalogue prices and obtain suggestions from Marvin. Availability varies with device support, network connectivity, location and third-party services.

Identification, recommendations, catalogue descriptions, asking prices, shop information and event schedules can be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. A song match does not establish which physical pressing you own. Check the sleeve, labels, matrix information, condition and seller's description before buying. Confirm an event or shop's details with its organizer or owner before travelling. Estimated values are not guaranteed sale prices or appraisals.

Marvin is an AI assistant. Its answers can be wrong, and you should verify claims that matter to your decisions. Feature and usage limits shown in the app apply. Music previews depend on provider availability; Dig does not promise full-track streaming, ownership of music, or an Apple Music subscription.

4. Subscriptions and billing

The current app requires an active Dig Pro subscription after sign-in and onboarding. The purchase screen shows the available plans, billing periods, localized prices and included access before you confirm a purchase. Your Apple purchase confirmation controls the transaction.

Payment is charged through your Apple account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account may be charged for renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends. You can manage or cancel through Apple's subscription settings. Cancellation normally leaves access until the paid period ends, subject to refunds, revocation or Apple's applicable rules.

A free trial or introductory offer applies only when expressly displayed and available to you in Apple's purchase flow. If offered, its duration and the subsequent price are shown before purchase. Cancel before the stated deadline to avoid the subsequent charge. No particular trial length is promised by these terms.

Use Restore purchases to restore eligible purchases associated with your Apple account. Contact support if restoration does not grant the access you expect. Refund requests for Apple purchases can be made through Apple's refund service; statutory rights remain unaffected.

Deleting the app, signing out or deleting your Dig account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it separately with Apple. You can request account deletion even while a subscription is active.

Any price changes or material subscription changes will follow Apple's notice and consent requirements and applicable law. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer remedies for a service that is not supplied or does not conform to what was promised.

5. Records, sellers and external services

Record purchases and seller transactions take place through Discogs or another external provider. Dig does not process payment for physical records, hold inventory, ship purchases or act as the buyer or seller. The seller's and marketplace's terms govern those transactions and related disputes.

When you authorize a supported connected-account action, such as creating, editing or ending a Discogs listing, it may change your live account at that provider. Check the record, price, condition and other details before confirming. You remain responsible for your listings, orders and fulfillment obligations.

Discogs, Apple, Deezer, event organizers and other linked providers operate independently. Their names and content do not imply endorsement of Dig. Third-party features may change or become unavailable. Where a change materially affects a paid service, your rights under applicable consumer law remain intact.

6. Your content and acceptable use

You retain any rights you have in the notes, photos, messages and other content you submit. You give us a limited right to store, copy, process and transmit that content as necessary to provide the features you request, including through service providers described in the Privacy Policy. This does not give us ownership of your content or an unrestricted right to use it in advertising.

Submit only content you are entitled to use and share. Do not use Dig to infringe others' rights, send unlawful content, access another person's account, interfere with the service, bypass usage/access limits or exploit provider credentials. Do not treat access through Dig as a license to redistribute third-party catalogues, artwork or audio.

7. Intellectual property

Dig's software, branding and original materials belong to their respective owners. Catalogue information, artwork, recordings, shop/event data and other third-party material remain subject to the relevant rights and licenses. OpenStreetMap-derived data is attributed to OpenStreetMap contributors. Use of the app does not transfer intellectual-property rights to you.

8. Service changes, suspension and account deletion

We may maintain or update Dig and take proportionate steps to protect the service, meet legal obligations or address serious breaches of these terms. Where reasonably possible, we will explain a suspension or material service change and how to contact us about it. We will not use this clause to remove mandatory rights concerning prepaid services, notice or refunds.

You may stop using Dig, cancel renewal with Apple and delete your account using Settings → Delete account or the subscription screen's Account page. Account deletion is permanent for the affected active account records; consider any information you need to keep beforehand. It does not necessarily erase separately retained subscription, analytics, security, support or legal records, backups, or copies on other devices. Section 5 of the Privacy Policy describes the retention criteria, deletion triggers and current limitations. Contact contact@digrecords.fr to request broader erasure. Any lawful retention exception applies only to the records and period needed for that purpose. Cancelling renewal and deleting an account are separate actions.

9. Responsibility and consumer rights

We will provide the service with the care and skill required by applicable law. Internet connections and independent providers can fail, and we cannot guarantee that every catalogue entry, recognition result or AI answer is correct. We remain responsible where the law makes us responsible for our own service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or any mandatory consumer guarantees and remedies. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, waive collective rights, or require consumers to give up protections available under the law that applies to them.

10. Complaints, applicable law and changes

Please contact support to raise a complaint or seek a resolution.

We will post revised terms with an effective date and provide reasonable notice of material changes where required. Where the law requires agreement to a change, we will obtain it. Changes do not remove rights arising from an earlier purchase.
